A young woman has bravely confronted a man who was caught allegedly trying to upskirt her on a train after she fell asleep.
She was travelling from Sydney on a Newcastle-bound train last Thursday at 11.30am when she noticed the man in front of her trying to allegedly push his phone under his seat.
The woman, who was wearing shorts, said she had fallen asleep with her knees up and woke to find the man allegedly trying to film her.
She started filming the man before confronting him and asking him to stop recording her.
Newcastle Police confirmed to Daily Mail Australia they are investigating the incident after the woman reported it and gave them the footage she had filmed on her phone..
