Ludhiana (Punjab): After the news of Indian Air Force (IAF) striking terror launch pads of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) came out, Major General (Retired) GD Bakshi said, “Personal kudos to the Indian Air Force brave fighter pilots who have carried out this trans border strike army have hit three target complexes the primary one being at balakot which was a training camp for the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) run by the nephew of Masood Azhar, Yusuf Azhar the head of JeM terror camp in Balakot. The ammunition was precision guided munitions, they would have hit the target squarely. We are waiting bomb damage assessment as it was a very carefully crafted operation sticking Bahawalpur was the most obvious option.” Earlier in the day, IAF sources said that major terror camps of JeM were destroyed in IAF strikes in PoK. Around 1000 kg of explosion was used in the strikes.
