Bollywood actor Laila Khan, who had been missing since the last 11 months, has been shot dead, according to the Jammu and Kashmir police.
Laila, who allegedly had terror links, was killed along with her entire family by three men outside Mumbai, police said.
The revelations were made during the interrogation of Parvez Tak who was arrested a couple of weeks ago from Jammu in connection with another case. Tak, who is a family friend of the Khans, reportedly said that the murders were carried out over a property dispute..

Bollywood actress Laila Khan, who was missing along with her family since February 2011, was murdered, her step father Parvez Tak revealed.
Laila, whose real name is Reshma Patel, was last seen in movie ‘Wafaa’ with Rajesh Khanna. She had gone missing with her mother Saleena Patel, sister Azmina, brother and a cousin from Mumbai last year. According to Tak, Laila and the other family members were killed on February 4, 2011.
On being interrogated by the Police, Tak said that Laila and her family members were killed for money and property worth crores of rupees that they owned.
It was alleged that Laila could have been involved with terror outfits. She came under the lens in the Delhi High Court blast probe after it emerged that a Mitsubishi Outlander (MH02-AY-7867), which was registered in her mother`s name Saleena Patel, was used for ferrying explosives by terrorists.
That SUV was traced to Parvez`s rented shop in Kishtwar on May 28 this year, leading to the unraveling of the entire plot.
It is also believed that Laila had conducted a recce of Mumbai and compiled a list of places and maps, which she reportedly handed over to the Lashkar-e-Toiba.

1. Laila lived in a suburban Mumbai flat with her mother Celina, three siblings, and another relative.
2. They disappeared from their flat in February last year.
3. Laila's father, Nadir Patel, who divorced her mother, filed a police complaint in Mumbai.
4. In Jammu, two weeks ago, Laila's stepfather, Parvez Tak, who is a Kashmiri, was arrested in connection with another case. He was the third and current husband of Laila's mother, Celina.
5. He has reportedly told the Jammu police that 11 months after Laila and her relatives went missing, they were shot dead near Mumbai by three men who included Celina's second husband, a man named Asif Sheikh.
6. The motive for the murder was allegedly the property owned by Laila and her mother. They owned two flats in Mumbai, and Celina's second husband wanted to stop her from selling these apartments.
7. Laila's biological father believes that Parvez Tak, who has been arrested, helped in her abduction.
8. Laila co-starred with actor Rajesh Khanna in the movie 'Wafa' which released in 2008.
9. The film's producer, Rakesh Sawant, was questioned by the Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad, about his funding and alleged links
