In the Indian Premier League today, the match will be between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Having won the toss, before going to bat, Hyderabad lost three important wickets. Captain Kane Williamson, playing a spectacular innings of 63, was out on the bowling of Sodhi.
Manish Pandey and Shakib Al Hasan are on the crease. Hyderabad scored 126 runs in 16 overs, losing three wickets.
Krishnappa Gautam took two wickets from Rajasthan. Gautam sent Shikhar Dhawan (6) and Alex Hales (45) back to the pavilion. Ish Sodhi walked out to captain Ken Williamson (63).

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 mini-auction got underway in Kochi and as many as 405 players went under the hammer and the Sunrisers Hyderabad made a few interesting changes in the players retained and released list in November.
SRH decided to let go of skipper Kane Williamson following his underwhelming season last year and they were in search of a candidate to fill that spot. Furthermore, having released a good chunk of their side, the franchise had INR 42.25 crore going into the mini-auction, the highest amongst all the teams.

Sunrisers Hyderabad dominated with both bat and ball to defeat Rajasthan Royals by 11 runs and rise to the top of the Indian Premier League (IPL) table here on Sunday.
Electing to bat first, Hyderabad rode on excellent batting by Kane Williamson and Alex Hales to post 151/7 in their 20 overs.
In reply, Rajasthan could only manage to reach 140/6.
The win propelled Hyderabad to the top spot on the points table. The visitors now have 12 points from eight matches.
They rose one rung, displacing former champions Chennai Super Kings to the second spot. Kings XI Punjab are at the third position.
Both Chennai and Punjab are on 10 points, with only the net run rate separating the two teams.
Rajasthan's chase was off to a poor start as opener Rahul Tripathi was bowled by Hyderabad pacer Sandeep Sharma in the third over.
Rajasthan skipper Ajinkya Rahane -- the team's other opener -- led from the front, batting through the innings to remain unbeaten on 65 runs off 55 balls.
He posted a partnership of 59 runs off 44 balls with Sanju Samson to bring the hosts' innings back on track after Tripathi's departure.
Samson scored 40 runs off 30 balls before holing out to Hales at short mid-wicket while attempting to smash a deceptive slower ball by Siddarth Kaul out of the ground.
That seemed to take the fight out of the hosts as they continued to lose wickets at regular intervals.

Mumbai Indians (MI) have defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Chennai by 13 runs defending 150 runs. Their bowlers, especially Trent Boult and Rahul Chahar were exceptional picking three wickets each while Jasprit Bumrah was as usual at his best returning with the figures of 1/15 in his four overs.
Earlier, Jonny Bairstow slammed 43 off just 22 balls to get SRH off to a brilliant start. Even David Warner seemed to be in his elements but they lost wickets at the wrong time which turned the game. While Bairstow got out hit wicket off Krunal Pandya, Hardik Pandya’s brilliant direct hit cut short the SRH skipper’s innings. The rest of the line-up never looked like getting to the target on a slow pitch as they succumbed to a third consecutive defeat.
Earlier in the day, Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bat. MI got off to a decent start as well with their skipper scoring 32 runs while Quinton de Kock laboured his way to 40 off 39. The middle-order struggled to get going as the pitch turned slow but it was Kieron Pollard who stepped up when they needed the most. He struck an unbeaten 35 off 22 to propel MI to 150 and it proved enough in the end.
