हॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री और लेखिका कैरी फिशर का 60 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन हो गया है. 'स्टार वार्स' में प्रिसेंज लिया की यादगार भूमिका निभाने वाली हॉलीवुड अभिनेत्री को शुक्रवार को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था. अभिनेत्री की बेटी बिली लाउर्ड के प्रवक्ता से एक बयान जारी कर उनके निधन की खबर दी. बयान में कहा गया- बहुत दुख के साथ बिली लाउर्ड ने पुष्टि की है कि उनकी मां कैरी फिशर का आज सुबह स्थानीय समय के मुताबिक आठ बजकर 55 मिनट पर निधन हो गया. रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, कैरी को लंदन से लॉस एंजिलिस आते समय विमान में ही दिल का दौरा पड़ गया था. उन्हें कर्मचारियों की मदद से विमान से लाया गया. इसके बाद वह गहन चिकित्सीय कक्ष (आईसीयू) में थीं. अभिनेत्री अन्ना अकाना ने ट्विटर पर लिखा है कि वह भी फिशर वाली विमान में सवार थीं. कई अन्य लोगों ने उनके बीमार होने के बाद उनकी बेहतरी की दुआ की थी.
