केरल के रहने वाले इंडियन कैथोलिक पादरी ने भारत सरकार और पोप फ्रांसिस से रिहाई की गुहार लगाई है। फादर टॉम उझुन्नैल को मार्च में यमन में इस्लामिक स्टेट ने अगवाकर लिया था। अगवा पादरी का इन दिनों एक वीडियों मैसेज वायरल हो रहा है। जिसमें उन्होंने कहा है कि “अगर मैं यूरोपीय पादरी होता तो मेरे मामले को ज्यादा गंभीरता से लिया जाता, मैं भारत से हूं, शायद इसीलिए मेरी कोई अहमियत नहीं है।“ क्रिसमस से एक दिन बाद जारी किए गए इस वीडियो संदेश में फादर टॉम बेहद घबराए हुए नजर आ रहे है। इसके साथ ही वीडियो में पादरी ने ये भी कहा कि “पोप फ्रांसिस एक पिता की तरह मेरे जीवन की रक्षा करें।

Mudasir Ahmad Lone was abducted by the suspected militants last night from his home in Chankitar village of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
In an emotional appeal that has gone viral on social networking websites, the mother of the SPO surrounded by her three daughters, said: “He is my only son among four children. He (Mudasir) had to come back home (to quit the job) and was to declare it this Friday in the mosque. However, he got engaged in some work and didn’t get time.”
She appealed to the militants to have mercy on her and her three daughters and set Mudasir free for Allah’s sake.
“You are also my own children. I request you to kindly set him free and he will quit the job and apologise for all his mistakes. If you hear of any complaint in future you can kill all of us,” she said.
