Madge has been keeping mum on the subject, but that changed Tuesday during her concert in Nice, France. Prior to performing the 'W.E.' soundtrack song, 'Masterpiece,' Madonna told the crowd, 'I'd like to dedicate this next song to a Mr. Elton John.'
It was an interesting 'dedication' seeing as how 'Masterpiece' won the 2012 Golden Globe for best original song, beating out John's 'Hello Hello' from 'Gnomeo & Juliet.'

'I know he's a big fan of it,' Madonna added about 'Masterpiece.' 'And I know he's a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere.'

We're sensing a sarcastic tone here on some level, especially in light of John's remarks at the Golden Globe Awards in January. Prior to the ceremony, the 'Rocket Man' singer said Madonna had no chance of winning with 'Masterpiece,' and after she walked away with the honor, John's partner David Furnish lashed out about both Madge's win and acceptance speech in an online rant.
