ബാംഗ്ലൂരില്‍ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു പ്രധാന വിനോദസഞ്ചാരകേന്ദ്രമാണ്‌ നന്ദി ഹിൽസ്. ടിപ്പുസുൽത്താൻ തന്റെ വേനൽക്കാല വസതിയായി നന്ദി ഹിൽസിലെ കൊട്ടാരം ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നു. അതിരാവിലെ എത്തുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികളെ കോടമഞ്ഞിൽ കുളിച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്ന നന്ദി ഹിൽസ് ഏറെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്നു. ബാംഗ്ലൂരിലെ ഹെബ്ബാളിൽ നിന്നും 52 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ എൻ എച്ച് ഏഴിൽ (ബെല്ലാരി റോഡ്) നിന്നും അല്പം മാറി സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽനിന്ന് 1479 മീറ്റർ ഉയരത്തിലാണ് ഈ ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് കേന്ദ്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ബാംഗ്ലൂർ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര വിമാനത്താവളം അടുത്തുതന്നെ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. മലയടിവാരത്തിൽ നിന്നും മൂന്നുകിലോമീറ്ററോളം യാത്രചെയ്താൽ പ്രധാനപ്രവേശനകവാടത്തിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരാം. കാൽനടയായും ഇതു കയറാവുന്നതാണ്.നിറയെ മരങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞ പ്രകൃതിരമണീയമായ സ്ഥലമാണ് നന്ദി ഹിൽസ്. കബ്ബൻ ഹൌസും വിശാലമായ പൂന്തോട്ടങ്ങളും യോഗനന്ദീശ്വര ക്ഷേത്രവും ഇവിടത്തെ മറ്റു ആകർഷണങ്ങളാണ്. കിഴക്കാംതൂക്കായി കിടക്കുന്ന വൻപാറകെട്ടുകളും അവയ്‌ക്കിടയിലായി വലിയൊരു നന്ദി പ്രതിഷ്ഠയും ഉണ്ട്. രാവിലെ എത്തുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികളെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്നത് നന്ദി ഹിൽസിൽ പെയ്‌തിറങ്ങുന്ന കോടമഞ്ഞുതന്നെയാണ്. നിരവധി ശലഭങ്ങളും പക്ഷികളും കൊണ്ട് നിറഞ്ഞ നന്ദി ഹിൽസിൽ അനവധി ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫേർസ് വന്നുപോകുന്നു. ചൂടുകാലത്ത് 25 മുതൽ 28 ഡിഗ്രി വരെയും തണുപ്പ് കാലത്ത് 8 മുതൽ 10 ഡിഗ്രി വരെയുമാണ് ഇവിടെ താപനില.
