सीएम जयराम ठाकुर ने कहा कि लाला लाजपत राय धर्मशाला जेल में लगभग 9 माह तक रहे थे। उनके नाम पर धर्मशाला जेल का नाम होना चाहिए था, जो विषय काफी अरसे से चल रहा था, जिसे आज पूरा किया गया है। सीएम ने आज धर्मशाला जेल के लाला लाजपत राय जिला एवं मुक्त सुधार गृह पर नामकरण का शुभारंभ और जेल में नवनिर्मित प्रशासनिक ब्लाक का शुभारंभ करने के बाद पत्रकारों से बातचीत में बोल रहे थे। सीएम ने कहा कि देश की आजादी में लाला लाजपत राय का बहुत बड़ा योगदान रहा है। उनकी स्मृति में धर्मशाला जेल का नाम लाला लाजपत राय के नाम पर किया गया है।

लाल किला पुलिस पोस्ट ने दो E-रिक्शा चालकों को चोरी के सामान के साथ गिरफ्तार किया
जो शख्स आप वीडियो में देख रहे हैं यह 47 साल का राकेश है जो ई-रिक्शा ड्राइवर है और चोरी की घटनाओं को लाजपत राय एरिया में अंजाम देता था।
गिरफ्तार किए गए दो शख्स इम्तियाज और राकेश है। इम्तियाज को जेल भेज दिया गया तो राकेश को पुलिस कस्टडी में लिया गया है और उससे और भी सामान की बरामदगी की कोशिश की जा रही है।
दरअसल पुलिस को मध्य प्रदेश के रहने वाले दीवान सिंह नाम के एक शख्स ने शिकायत दर्ज करवाई कि वह ई रिक्शा से अपने इलेक्ट्रॉनिक आइटम लेकर जा रहा था जब वह मेट्रो स्टेशन गेट नंबर 2 लाजपत राय मार्केट पर पहुंचा तो उसने देखा कि उसका कुछ सामान गायब है। उसका वह सामान ई-रिक्शा में लोडेड था और उसमें से कुछ सामान गायब मिला। उसने इसकी शिकायत कोतवाली थाना पुलिस को दी। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू की इस मामले में पुलिस द्वारा एक जांच टीम बनाई गई जिसमें SI रणविजय , ASI सुरेश और हेड कांस्टेबल मुकेश ने जांच शुरू की जांच में उन्होंने अपने सोर्सेज का इस्तेमाल किया ।
15 अप्रैल को इस पुलिस टीम ने दो लोगों को पकड़ा जिनका नाम इम्तियाज और राकेश है । इम्तियाज की उम्र 51 साल तो राकेश की उम्र 47 साल है और इनके पास से चुराई गई इलेक्ट्रॉनिक आइटम डीवीडी, एलईडी भी बरामद किए गए।
जांच में उन्होंने बताया कि ये दोनों ई रिक्शा ड्राइवर है और अपने शराब और दूसरे नशे के लिए चोरी की घटनाओं को अंजाम देने लगे। पुलिस ने इम्तियाज और राकेश को न्यायालय में पेश किया और राकेश की पुलिस कस्टडी ली गई ताकि और भी सामान कि इनके पास से रिकवरी हो सके। फिलहाल कोतवाली थाना पुलिस पूरे मामले की जांच में जुटी है।
