HSRP has become a curse in the public eye for the many inconveniences and concerns it has raised ever since its inception. Activist Mahesh Dattaram Naik, in a press conference has slammed the government for restarting HSRP, when there are already concerns over its actual security factor. With these plates alleged to have no security, Naik has asked the government to deploy security at Goa's borders where there's allegedly no security to keep tabs on entry and exit of vehicles. In relation to vehicles, Naik has alleged fake documentation while applying for HSRP and has asked to see whether the govt is actually following Supreme Court guidelines with respect to administering of HSRP, he also highlighted Non-Goan registered vehicles plying freely on Goan roads, to which he has asked for vehicle registration verification.
