Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday addressed the 250th session of the Upper House of Parliament. Stressing on the importance of the House in India's federal structure, PM Modi said Rajya Sabha has risen to the occasion whenever it has been about good of the nation, enlisting examples of passing of Triple Talaq bill, GST and abrogation of Article 370. He quoted Atal Bihari Vajpayee that the Upper House 'may be the second house but no one should think of it as a secondary house.'
