The final list of National Register of Citizens (NRC) has been released the list was published at 10 am. The state administration has made adequate security arrangements to meet any untoward incidents. As many as 2000 paramilitary forces have been put on high alert in Assam. The list has been released at all NRC Seva Kendra (NSK) across the state and on www.nrcassam.nic.in or www.assam.mygov.in online. The Centre has extended the time period for appeal in a Foreigners Tribunal from 60 days to 120 days.
