Things keep going from bad to worse for Amanda Bynes, with the 26-year-old actress snapped driving around Los Angeles on a suspended licence and smoking out of what appears to be a marijuana pipe.

According to TMZ, Bynes was seen taking multiple hits out of the pipe that was designed to look like a car's cigarette lighter.

Amanda's licence was suspended on August 25 after she was charged over two hit-and-runs, but that didn't stop her hitting the road.

Reports say the former Disney star began her day-long adventure in the parking lot of a Mexican restaurant, smoking from the pipe and eating tacos. She then drove to a spa, emerged three hours later and 'drove without purpose for several hours', ending up at a home improvement department store, where she, you guessed it, took a hit from the pipe in the parking lot.

Despite her obviously dangerous behaviour, friends and family are having trouble getting through to the actress.

'Amanda is refusing to go to rehab or seek any form of psychiatric treatment or diagnosis, because it's clear something is up with her,' a close friend told Radar Online.

'Amanda's completely gone off the grid. She won't speak with her manager, her agent, her publicist; she's not returning anybody's phone calls.'.
