The Indian team has been announced for the triangular T-20 series played in Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli, Dhoni, Jaspreet Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been rested in the triangular T-20 series.

When Kohli gets rest, Rohit Sharma will take the captaincy in the tri-series T-20, while Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant have been given the opportunity to replace Dhoni as wicketkeeper.

Rohit Sharma has been made the captain of India, while Shikhar Dhawan has been appointed as the Deputy captain.

Kuldeep Yadav will not play in the triangular T-20 series. Once Suresh Raina will be part of the Indian team, then a young player like Mohammad Siraj, Shardul Thakur, Washington Sunder and Vijay Shankar have got an opportunity.
