രോഹിഗ്യന്‍ അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്കായി ബംഗ്ലാദേശില്‍ താല്‍ക്കാലിക ദ്വീപൊരുങ്ങുന്നു. മ്യാന്‍മറില്‍നിന്നു പലായനം ചെയ്‌തെത്തിയ രോഹിന്‍ഗ്യകള്‍ക്കായി മനുഷ്യവാസമില്ലാത്ത ഭസന്‍ ചാര്‍ ദ്വീപാണ് മുഖം മിനുക്കിയെടുക്കുന്നത്. കരയില്‍നിന്ന് 30 കിലോമീറ്റര്‍ അകലെ, ആകൃതി മാറിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ദ്വീപിന് 'പൊങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്ന ദ്വീപ്' എന്നാണു വിളിപ്പേര്. കോക്‌സ് ബസാറിലെ അഭയാര്‍ഥി ക്യാംപുകള്‍ നിറഞ്ഞു കവിഞ്ഞതോടെയാണു ബംഗ്ലദേശ് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സമാന്തര സംവിധാനം നോക്കിയത്. മ്യാന്‍മറിന്റെയും, ബംഗ്ലാദേശിന്റെയും അതിര്‍ത്തിയിലുള്ള നോ മാന്‍ ദ്വീപിലെക്ക് 60000 അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികളെ എത്തിക്കാനാണ് തീരുമാനം, ഏപ്രില്‍ ഒടുവിലായി കാലവര്‍ഷമെത്തും മുന്‍പ് ദ്വീപിലെ ഒരുക്കങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാനാണു പദ്ധതി.

റോഹിംഗ്യകളെ സ്വന്തം നാട്ടിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചെത്തിക്കുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടി ബംഗ്ലാദേശ്, മ്യാന്മാര്‍ രാജ്യങ്ങള്‍ തമ്മില്‍ കരാറില്‍ ഒപ്പുവച്ചു. എന്നാല്‍ ഇത് എത്രത്തോളം പ്രാവര്‍ത്തികമാണെന്നാണ് ലോകം ഉറ്റുനോക്കുന്നത്.ഓങ്‌സാന്‍ സൂചിയും ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രി മഹ്മൂദ് അലിയും തമ്മിലുള്ള കൂടിക്കാഴ്ചയിലാണ് ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ ധാരണയിലെത്തിയത്. രണ്ടു മാസത്തിനകം റോഹിങ്ക്യന്‍ അഭയാര്‍ഥികളെ തിരികെ സ്വീകരിക്കാനാണ് തീരുമാനം. റോഹിങ്ക്യകള്‍ക്കെതിരായ സൈനിക നടപടി അവസാനിപ്പിക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് മ്യാന്മറിനു മേല്‍ അന്താരാഷ്ട്രതലത്തില്‍ സമ്മര്‍ദമുയര്‍ന്നിരുന്നു. ഇതിനു പിന്നാലെയാണ് അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികളെ തിരികെ എത്തിക്കാനുള്ള നീക്കം. മ്യാന്‍മാറില്‍ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം ആറു ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം അഭയാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നാണ് കണക്കുകള്‍.
