കോടതി ''സ്‌റ്റേ''യ്ക്കും നിയന്ത്രണം
കോടതികളുടെ സ്‌റ്റേക്ക് ഇനി ആറുമാസം മാത്രം കാലാവധി
നിലവില്‍ കോടതി സ്‌റ്റേ മൂലം നിയമ നടപടികള്‍ നിര്‍ത്തിവെച്ച എല്ലാ കേസുകളും ആറുമാസത്തിനു ശേഷം പുനരാരംഭിക്കാമെന്ന് സുപ്രീം കോടതി വിധിച്ചു. ആറുമാസത്തിലേക്കാള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ദിവസം സ്‌റ്റേ വേണമെന്ന് ജഡ്ജി കരുതുന്ന കേസുകളിലെ വിധിയില്‍ സ്‌റ്റേ നീട്ടുന്നതിന്റെ കാരണം വ്യക്തമാക്കണമെന്നും പറയുന്നു. കോടതികള്‍ ഇനി മുതല്‍ നല്‍കുന്ന സ്‌റ്റേ ഉത്തരവുകള്‍ക്കും വിധി ബാധകമാകും. സ്‌റ്റേ ആറുമാസത്തിലധികം നീട്ടണമെങ്കില്‍ എല്ലാ കരണങ്ങളും ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളിച്ചുള്ള സ്പീക്കിങ്ങ് ഓര്‍ഡര്‍ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കണമെന്നും വിധിയില്‍ ഉണ്ട്. കേസിന്റെ പ്രത്യേക സ്വഭാവവും വിധിയില്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കണമെന്നും സുപ്രീം കോടതിയുടെ മൂന്നംഗ ബെഞ്ച് ഉത്തരവിട്ടു.
