यह तस्वीरें हैं सीरिया में रहने वाले ओमरान दाकनिश की...जो खून और मिट्टी से सना हुआ एंबुलेंस में बैठा हुआ है। बदहवास और खून से सने इस बच्चे का चेहरा सीरिया के उत्तरी शहर पर ढाहे गए कहर को साफ-साफ बयां कर रहा है। यह बच्चा सीरियाई शहर अलेप्पो के नजदीक हवाई हमले के बाद मलबे की चपेट में आने से बुरी तरह घायल हो गया था। ओमरान का इलाज करने वाली नर्स की मानें तो जब उसके घावों को साफ करके दवाई लगाई जा रही थी, तब भी वह बिल्कुल भी नहीं रोया। लेकिन जब घायल माता-पिता अस्पताल पहुंचे तो उन्हें देखकर वह जोर-जोर से रो पड़ा। आपको बता दें कि ओमरान का घर विद्रोहियों के कब्जे वाले अलेप्पो के उपनगरीय इलाके में था जो हवाई हमले में बुरी तबाह हो गया है। सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुई तस्वीरों को देखकर पूरी दुनिया और संयुक्त राष्ट्र सदमे में है। बदहोश और खौफ़ की ओमरान की तस्वीरों को देख संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने जंग में सीरिया को दी जा रही मदद को रोकने का फैसला किया है। यूएन की मानें तो जब मदद जरूरतमंदों तक पहुंच ही न पाए, तो उसका कोई मतलब नहीं है।
