'മഹാശയ ജി' എന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ധരം പാല്‍ ഗുലാത്തി വ്യാപാര വ്യവസായ രംഗത്തെ സംഭാവനകള്‍ക്ക് ഈ വര്‍ഷം പത്മഭൂഷണ്‍ നല്‍കി രാജ്യം ആദരിച്ച വ്യക്തി. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മുന്‍നിരയില്‍ നില്‍ക്കുന്ന സ്പൈസസ് കമ്ബനിയായ മഹാശയ ഡി ഹട്ടിയുടെ (എംഡിഎച്ച്‌) സിഇഒയാണ് ധരം പാല്‍ ഗുലാത്തി. എഫ്‌എംസിജി സെക്ടറില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന സിഇഒമാരില്‍ ഏറ്റവും ഉയര്‍ന്ന ശമ്ബളം വാങ്ങുന്ന വ്യക്തി കൂടിയാണ് അദ്ദേഹം. തന്‍റെ കമ്ബനി നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുന്ന ഉല്പ്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ പരസ്യ ചിത്രങ്ങളില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നതും ഈ 95 കാരന്‍ തന്നെയാണ്.ഒരു പക്ഷേ, ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രായം കൂടിയ പരസ്യ ചിത്ര അഭിനയതാവും ഇദ്ദേഹമായിരിക്കുമെന്ന് ടൈംസ് ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നു.ഇന്നത്തെ പാകിസ്ഥാന്‍ പ്രദേശമായ സിയാല്‍കോട്ടില്‍ 1923 മാര്‍ച്ച്‌ 27 നാണ് ഗുലാത്തി ജനിച്ചത്. പിന്നീട് ഇന്ത്യ വിഭജനകാലത്ത് ഗുലാത്തിയുടെ കുടുംബം ഇന്ത്യയിലെത്തി. അന്ന് അതിര്‍ത്തി കടന്നെത്തിയ ആ കുടുംബത്തിന്‍റെ കൈയില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നത് വെറും 1,500 രൂപ മാത്രമായിരുന്നു. അവിടെ നിന്നാണ് ഗുലാത്തി 2,000 കോടി മൂല്യമുളള എംഡിഎച്ച്‌ എന്ന വന്‍കിട കമ്ബനി സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നത്. എംഡിഎച്ചിന്‍റെ സിഇഒയായ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ 2018 ലെ ശമ്ബളം 25 കോടി രൂപയായിരുന്നു. എഫ്‌എംസിജി (ഫാസ്റ്റ് മൂവെബിള്‍ കണ്‍സ്യൂമര്‍ ഗുഡ്സ്) മേഖലയില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന കമ്ബനിയുടെ സിഇഒമാരില്‍ ഏറ്റവും ഉയര്‍ന്ന ശമ്ബളം!ഇന്ന് ഇന്ത്യയിലും ദുബായിലുമായി എംഡിഎച്ചിന് 18 ഫാക്ടറികളുണ്ട്.കമ്ബനി മൊത്തം 62 ഉല്‍പ്പന്നങ്ങള്‍ വിപണിയിലെത്തിക്കുന്നു. കമ്ബനിയുടെ ഉല്‍പ്പന്നങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഉത്തരേന്ത്യയില്‍ 80 ശതമാനം വിപണി വിഹിതം ഉണ്ടെന്നാണ് എംഡിഎച്ചിന്‍റെ അവകാശവാദം. രണ്ട് മാസം കൂടി കഴിയുന്നതോടെ 96 വയസ്സ് പൂര്‍ത്തിയാകുന്ന ഗുലാത്തിക്ക് ആറ് പെണ്‍കുട്ടികളും ഒരു ആണ്‍കുട്ടിയുമുണ്ട്.വളരെ അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായാണ് തന്‍റെ ഉല്പ്പന്നങ്ങളുടെ പരസ്യത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കാന്‍ അദ്ദേഹം തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. ഒരിക്കല്‍ കമ്ബനിയുടെ പരസ്യത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കാനിരുന്ന വ്യക്തിക്ക് പെട്ടെന്ന് എത്താന്‍ കഴിയാതായതോടെ പരസ്യ സംവിധായകന്‍ ഗുലാത്തിയോട് പരസ്യത്തില്‍ അഭിനയിക്കാന്‍ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. പിന്നീട് അത് സ്ഥിരമായി.ഇപ്പോഴു
