Prasanna and Ajmal decide to get the ransom money, which is hidden in Ajmal's house through Ajmal's friend. He instructs his sister over phone to give the bag to his friend. Vijayalakshmi strictly warns him to come back from all bad company. When Naren comes to see check on Ajmal, Vijayalakshmi hides about the call. She pleads him to save Ajmal, but Naren is firm on being a police rather than a friend. He tracks Vijayalskhmi to find Ajmal's whereabouts.
