As there is temple festival, villagers, their relatives, children throng form various places to the village. they are busy doing shopping, fixing up lights, decorations etc. When a man suggests Appukutty to take the horse in the night and run away he refuses and says he can wait till the festival and does not want spoil the happiness of anyone.

When Appukutty the real owner of the horse claims it, the villagers are sentimental about the horse and beat and chase him away. With the help of police, it is decided to keep the horse and Appukutty in the village till the temple festival.
