A four-member delegation from the African Union Commission (AUC) arrived in India. Delegations from (AUC) are on a visit to India from 4-7 September 2013. The delegation is being led by Ambassador Jean-Baptiste Natama, Chief of Staff of the Bureau of the AUC Chairperson. The Joint Action Plan of the Enhanced Framework of Cooperation of the second India Africa Forum Summit (IAFS-II) is held today in New Delhi i.e. on Friday, 6th September 2013.

Arrangements were made accordingly so that delegation may have a detailed discussion with the Indian institutions and agencies that are involved in the implementation of the IAFS -II decisions.

The delegation is scheduled to call on the Hon'ble Minister of State for External Affairs, Smt. Preneet Kaur. The delegation will participate in an interactive session with the Heads of African Missions in New Delhi.
