    REPUBLIC DAY HISTORY: The Constitution of India came into force, and India declared itself a Republic on January 26, 1950, a date thereafter celebrated annually as Republic Day in India.

    The Constitution had been drafted by the Constituent Assembly which was set up when India gained its independence from the British in 1947.


    This, in fact, was a deliberate act: the 26th of January was initially India's 'Independence Day', one of Mahatma Gandhi's many symbolic acts during India's struggle for freedom against British colonial rule, and the adoption of the Constitution on this date was felt able to strengthen its initial meaning, one calling for Indians of all ages to declare their freedom from the British Raj.
    To mark this occasion, a grand parade is held in New Delhi, the Capital of India, beginning from Raisina Hill near the Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential Palace), along the Rajpath, past India Gate and on to the historic Red Fort in the old quarter of the city.

The Indian Constitution is one of the longest & most comprehensive Constitutions in the world, safeguarding & ensuring equal rights for every Indian.     The most elaborate celebration is organised in India country's capital, New Delhi. It involves march-pasts by the country's Armed Forces, with some of the most lethal weapon systems, missiles, Fighter Aircraft, Tanks etc, rolling down the Rajpath, with crowd of citizens cheering them on -- pure jingo wet-dream. It also showcases cultural tableau from the various states of India.

    The best celebration, however, would be organized in my school, where our class teacher would hand out lozenges to us after the ceremony. On many a occasions, I'd also be recipient of a prize given out that day - pure glee. It would be followed by us running out to begin playing Football or Cricket for the rest of the day, long after dusk had settled in, much to the consternation of our folks in the pre-cellphone days.     बच्चो को रात में स्कूल तक छोड़ने के लिए पेरेंट्स बच्चो के साथ आ रहे है और राजपथ की परेड में अपने बच्चो की भागीदारी से बेहद खुश है और गर्व महशुश कर रहे है |
    बच्चो की तैयारी के लिए ट्रेंड टीचर कई दिन से लगे है| साथ ही मेकअप आर्टिस्ट बच्चो को तैयार करते है| स्कूल टीचर भी इन बच्चो के साथ पूरी मेहनत से लगे है ताकि परफॉर्मेंस बेहतर से बेहतर हो क्योकि इस परफॉर्मेंस को भारत में ही नही बल्कि भारत से बाहर रहे रहे भारतीय मूल के सब लोग देखते है |
    इन बच्चो की मेहनत देखकर पता चलता है की राजपथ पर देश को जो प्रस्तुति कलाकार गणतन्त्र दिवास पर दिखाते है उसमे कितनी मेहनत होती है|
