રાજ્યની સ્વ-નિર્ભર શાળાઓમાં ફી નક્કી કરતા ફી નિયમન એક્ટ અંગે હાઇકોર્ટે ચૂકાદો આપી દીધો છે. પરંતુ આ અંગે સુપ્રીમ કોર્ટમાં કરવામાં આવેલી પીટીશનનો કોઈ નિર્ણય લેવાયો નથી અને તેની મુદ્દત લંબાવીને 1 ફેબ્રુઆરી કરી દેવામાં છે. ત્યારે હાલ ચાલી રહેલ ફી અંગેના વિવાદમાં શિક્ષણ મંત્રીએ કોંગ્રેસ પર આકરા પ્રહાર કરતા જણાવ્યું હતું કે કોંગ્રેસ પોતે વ્યાપારીકરણને સમર્થન આપી રહી છે. આમ ખાનગી શાળા સંચલાકોને પહેલી ફેબુઆરી સુધી કામચલાઉ રાહત આપી છે.Watch Supreme Court upholds hearing on Gujarat school fee regulation act With HD Quality.
