He said: 'Indira Gandhi always listened and understood to the issues of the poor. I do not claim that I understood all of your problems but now I know some of it.' Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress party was trying to bring in a policy of right to health. Rahul Gandhi has been interacting with people from various walks of life including NGOs, farmers, panchayat heads and more to seek their input for the Congress party's manifesto.

झुंझुनू (राजस्थान), 15 मई: राजस्थान के झुंझुनू में हुए एक हिंदुस्तान कॉपर लिमिटेड की खदान में देर रात लिफ्ट का रस्सा टूटने से करीब 1800 फीट गहराई में 15 मजदूर फंस गए जिन्हें बचाने के लिए देर रात से बचाव अभियान शुरू किया गया। 15 मई की देर सुबह तक सभी 15 मजदूरों बचा लिया गया। उन्हें प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए अस्पताल भेजा गया है।
