Shai opened up to The Daily Beast about why her films have been so important to her explaining 'For me, one of the things that I am so passionate about in life is empowering young girls to reconnect with their own power.' She adds, 'The one thing I really loved about Divergent is that (my character) Tris is a heroine and fights for what she believes in, it passionate about it, and is willing to risk her life for the greater good of humanity.' Divergent is in theaters on March 21st and The Fault In Our Stars hits theaters on June 6th..

    Brianna Baxter and today it's a special edition of Red where we're talking about the hottest looks from the Critic's Choice Movie Awards 2012 and let me tell you it wasn't the seasoned veterans that ran the carpet, in fact I'd say that the young starlets stole the show!

    Shailene Woodley, Elle Fanning and Chloe Moretz all made me do a double take in their gorgeous gowns.

    Elle Fanning who's only 13 years old rocked the carpet in mint green gown embroidered with yellow flowers from Rodarte's Spring 2012 collection. She kept it simple with loose natural waves, glimmering eye make-up and a very light lip. This gown definitely kept her age appropriate.

    14-year old Chloe Moretz went for a bold look as well in a flared dress. Complete with contrasting textured sleeves, Moretz definitely stood out at the carpet. The top of the dress had a beautiful jewel embellishment. She kept the rest of her look simple with a slightly pulled back hair do, extremely natural make up, minimal accessories and ankle-strap heels by Rupert Sanderson.

    And last but certainly not least is ABC Family's golden girl, Shailene Woodley in a gorgeous floor length gown with a silver halter detail. This ultra elegant backless gown doesn't show a flaw in site. Shailene stepped up the sophistication of the ensemble with straight locks and natural make-up.

    So, just yesterday we got word that Shailene Woodley was getting booted from The Amazing Spiderman 2, with the assumption that she would then comeback as Mary Jane Watson in the newly slatted Spiderman 3 movie, which was recently set for June 10, 2016. However, The Wrap has learned from a source close to the project that Woodley may not be coming back to the Spiderman franchise at all, and that her commitments to her upcoming sci-fi movie franchise, Divergent, will likely conflict with a Spiderman 3 shooting schedule. Divergent is a new young adult franchise adapted from novels written by Veronica Ruth, an adaption that is similar to that of The Hunger Games, and Woodley will be starring as Beatrice Prior, a teenager who doesn't fit inside the parameters of a now homogenous society that divides people into factions. She decides to put her fate in her own hands, and trains to become a part of a faction that she chooses. Now, production has already begun on Divergent in Chicago, with a March 2014 release date planned. But, there are plans to turn the film into a trilogy, which will likely take all of Woodley's time over the next several years. So, if Woodley doesn't come back to The Amazing Spiderman Franchise, who would you all like to see play Mary Jane in the part 3?
