नजीबाबाद के कल्लू गंज स्थित एक किराना की दुकान में बीती रात अज्ञात कारणों से भीषण आग लग गई। देखते ही देखते आग ने पूरी दुकान को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया। अचानक लगी भीषण आग से क्षेत्र में भी अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया। स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा पुलिस को मामले की सूचना दी गई। सूचना मिलते ही अग्निशमन विभाग की टीम, नजीबाबाद पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी गजेन्द्र पाल सिंह, थानाध्यक्ष दिनेश गौड़ भारी पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे । अग्निशमन विभाग की कार्यवाही के दौरान कुछ ही देर में आग पर काबू पा लिया गया। पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी ने बताया कि आग लगने के कारणों का जांच के उपरांत ही पता चल पायेगा। रात्रि में लगी अचानक आग से पीड़ित दुकानदार का काफी नुकसान हुआ जिसे देखते हुए मानवता के नाते नजीबाबाद पुलिस क्षेत्राधिकारी गजेन्द्र पाल सिंह ने पीड़ित दुकानदार को 10 हज़ार रूप्ए की नगर धनराशि अपने पास से प्रदान की और उचित जांच कराने का आश्वासन दिया जिसकी क्षेत्रीय लोगों द्वारा प्रशंसा की जा रही है।
