According to TMZ.com, the actress was arrested in West Hollywood early Friday morning. Bynes, who has been reportedly hitting the Hollywood club scene frequently as of late, was attempting to pass a cop car -- but instead sideswiped the vehicle. Yiiiiikes.
The 26-year-old was busted around 3:00 AM and at the present time is STILL behind bars. Her bail has been set at 5,000 dollars.
Sources tell Clevver News that this has been a long time coming and she's been struggling with mass alcohol consumption for years.
Now, as Clevver News reported -- just last month Bynes got a ticket for talking on her cell phone and fled the scene before the cop could return her license and the ticket. She later swung by the police station to sign her ticket.
