JAMMU LINKS NEWS | An over speeding bus of University of Jammu (JU) on Tuesday hit and damaged many vehicles in Narwal area of city outskirts.

Quoting eye-witness, a police official said that a JU bus bearing registration number JK02AA-4026 being driven in a rash and negligent manner by driver Jagdish Singh son of Gian Singh, resident of Ramnagar (Udhampur), from Narwal to Panama Chowk first hit a scooty and then in a bid to flee from the spot, he hit three other vehicles including an Ambassador car (registration number JK020-8662) belonging to NHPC, a Chevrolet car (registration number JK02BB-1202) and an Alto car.Watch Over speeding Jammu University bus hits many vehicles at Narwal With HD Quality.

Sixteen people have died and twelve others injured in a bus accident in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri district this morning.Initial investigation suggests that the driver of the bus was speeding when the vehicle hit the road divider. The collision led to the bus being overturned. The accident happened in Mainpuri's Danhara area.

Those injured have been taken to hospitals nearby. Three of the twelve injured are in critical condition. The driver of the bus was also injured and currently being treated at a hospital. The police is waiting to record his statement.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath condoled the death of the passengers in the bus accident. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family of the departed people.
