JAMMU LINKS NEWS | Deputy Commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav today reviewed the arrangements for Annual Buddha Amarnath Yatra 2018 here at a meeting of officers and representatives of religious organizations.
After threadbare discussion, the meeting chalked out action plan for security, power supply, medical and transport facilities, drinking water, accommodation and sanitation along the route and at the halt points.
The meeting was informed that the yatra will commence on August 17 and the first batch will arrive at Buddha Amarnath on August 18.
The Yatra will culminate on August 24 with the departure of ‘Chari Mubarakh’ from Shri Dashnami Akhara Poonch.
