ഫ്യൂവല്‍ ഹോസ് കണക്ഷനിലുള്ള നിര്‍മ്മാണപ്പിഴവാണ് മോഡലുകളെ തിരിച്ചുവിളിക്കാന്‍ കാരണം. 2016 ജൂലായ് 16നും 2018 മാര്‍ച്ച് 22നും ഇടയ്ക്ക് നിര്‍മ്മിച്ച ഇന്നോവ ക്രിസ്റ്റകളിലും 2016 ഒക്ടോബര്‍ ആറിനും 2018 മാര്‍ച്ച് 22നും ഇടയ്ക്ക് നിര്‍മ്മിച്ച ഫോര്‍ച്യൂണറുകളിലുമാണ് തകരാറുകള്‍ ഉള്ളതെന്ന് കമ്പനി പറഞ്ഞു. വിപണിയില്‍ വിറ്റുപോയ 2,628 മോഡലുകളില്‍ പരിശോധന നടത്തുമെന്ന് കമ്പനി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. പരിശോധന ആവശ്യമായ വാഹന ഉടമകളെ കമ്പനി ഡീലര്‍മാര്‍ വരും ദിവസങ്ങളില്‍ വിവരമറിയിക്കും. നിര്‍മ്മാപ്പിഴവുകള്‍ സൗജന്യമായി പരിഹരിച്ചു നല്‍കുമെന്ന് കമ്പനി വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഇന്ധനടാങ്ക് പൂര്‍ണമായും നിറച്ചാല്‍ ഇന്ധനം ചോര്‍ന്നൊലിക്കുന്നതാണ് പ്രധാനപ്രശ്‌നം. കാനിസ്റ്റര്‍ ഹോസും ഫ്യൂവല്‍ റിട്ടേണ്‍ ഹോസും തെറ്റായി ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ചതാണിതിന് കാരണം. ഇന്നോവ ക്രിസ്റ്റയുടെയും ഫോര്‍ച്യൂണറിന്റെയും പെട്രോള്‍ വകഭേദങ്ങളില്‍ മാത്രമാണ് ഫ്യൂവല്‍ ഹോസ് തകരാറുള്ളത്..
