“Kerala CPI-M’s party state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan's son Binoy Kodiyeri has sullied, defamed and shamed the image of Kerala and India internationally by committing financial fraud to the tune of Rs. 13 crore in Dubai. The Dubai police has approached the Interpol and reportedly CPI-M’s national leadership including Sitaram Yechuri for recovery of the defrauded amount. BJP demands answers from Sitaram Yechuri, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan and Kodiyeri Balakrishnan for trying to shield Binoy Kodiyeri. BJP also demands that Kodiyeri Balakrishnan should immediately step down from his political office and Binoy Kodiyeri should present himself to the Dubai police to face consequences of law, failing which BJP will resort to all possible political and administrative means to ensure that this financial fraud does not go unchecked and unpunished.”
