രണ്ടാം ഇന്നിങ്സില്‍ കേരളം 91 റണ്‍സിന് പുറത്തായി. വിദര്‍ഭയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി അഞ്ച് വിക്കറ്റെടുത്ത ഉമേഷ് യാദവാണ് കേരളത്തെ തകര്‍ത്തത്. വിദര്‍ഭ തുടര്‍ച്ചയായി രണ്ടാം തവണയാണ് ഫൈനലില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നത്. രണ്ടിന്നിങ്സിലുമായി കേരളത്തിന്റെ 12 വിക്കറ്റുകളാണ് ഉമേഷ് യാദവ് എറിഞ്ഞിട്ടത്.ആദ്യം ബാറ്റ് ചെയ്ത കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ഇന്നിങ്സ് വേഗത്തിൽ തകര്‍ന്നടിഞ്ഞു . 12 ഓവറില്‍ 48 റണ്‍സ് വിട്ടുകൊടുത്ത് ഏഴു വിക്കറ്റുകള്‍ പിഴുത ഉമേഷ് യാദവായിരുന്നു വിദര്‍ഭയുടെ പോര്‍മുന. സച്ചിന്‍ ബേബി (22), വിഷ്ണു വിനോദ് (37) എന്നിവര്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് കേരളത്തിന്റെ നിരയില്‍ കുറച്ചെങ്കിലും പിടിച്ചുനില്‍ക്കാനായത്. ഒരറ്റത്ത് വിക്കറ്റുകള്‍ കൊഴിയുമ്പോള്‍ വിഷ്ണു പ്രതിരോധം തീര്‍ത്തെങ്കിലും വാലറ്റം തകര്‍ന്നടിഞ്ഞതോടെ കേരളത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം ഇന്നിങ്സ് 106 റണ്‍സില്‍ ഒതുങ്ങി.മറുപടി ബാറ്റിങ്ങിനിറങ്ങിയ വിദര്‍ഭയുടെ നായകനും ഓപ്പണറുമായ ഫൈസ് ഫൈസല്‍ മികവുറ്റ പ്രകടനമാണ് കാഴ്ചവയ്ച്ചത് .75 റണ്‍സ് ഫൈസല്‍ അടിച്ചെടുത്തു. 19 റണ്‍സെടുത്ത ഓപ്പണര്‍മാരിലൊരാളായ സഞ്ജയ് രാമസ്വാമിയെയാണ് വിദര്‍ഭയ്ക്ക് ആദ്യം നഷ്ടമായത്. വൈകിയെങ്കിലും വസിം ജാഫറി(34)നെയും കേരള താരം നിധീഷ് മടക്കി. അപ്പോഴേക്കും കേരളം ലീഡ് വഴങ്ങി കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. പിന്നാലെ ഫൈസലിനെ സന്ദീപ് വാര്യര്‍ മടക്കിയതോടെ കേരള ക്യാമ്പ് ഉണര്‍ന്നു. പിന്നീടങ്ങോട്ട് വിദര്‍ഭയുടെ ബാറ്റിങ് നിരയെ കേരള ബോളര്‍മാര്‍ കശക്കിയെറിഞ്ഞു. മധ്യനിരയും വാലറ്റവും തകര്‍ന്നതോടെ വിദര്‍ഭയുടെ ഒന്നാം ഇന്നിങ്സ് 208 റണ്‍സില്‍ അവസാനിച്ചു.വിദര്‍ഭ സമ്മാനിച്ച ചെറു ലീഡിനെ മറികടക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുമെന്ന പ്രതീക്ഷയില്‍ രണ്ടാം ഇന്നിങ്സിനിറങ്ങിയ കേരളം തുടക്കത്തില്‍ തന്നെ അടിപതറി.രണ്ടക്കം കാണിക്കാതെ ജലജ് സക്സേനയെ മടക്കി അയച്ചത് ഉമേഷ് യാദവ്. ഉമേഷിന്റെ പാത പിന്തുടര്‍ന്ന യാഷ് താക്കൂറും കേരളത്തിന്റെ ബാറ്റിങ് നിരയെ വിറപ്പിച്ചു. രണ്ടാം ഊഴത്തില്‍ മൂന്നു പേര്‍ മാത്രമാണ് കേരളത്തിന്റെ നിരയില്‍ രണ്ടക്കം കണ്ടത്. ചീട്ടുകൊട്ടാരം പോലെയായിരുന്നു കേരളത്തിന്റെ തകര്‍ച്ച. അരുണ്‍ കാര്‍ത്തിക് 36 റണ്‍സ് നേടിയപ്പോള്‍ വിഷ്ണു വിനോദ് 15 റണ്‍സില്‍ കളി മതിയാക്കി. വാലറ്റത്ത് സിജോമോന്‍ ജോസഫാണ്(17) രണ്ടക്കം കണ്ട താരം.സച്ചിന്‍ ബേബ
