Clint Eastwood not only proved himself as an actor but also as a director with one of his films – Letters From Iwo Jima. The film portrayed the point of views of the Japanese soldiers in the battle of Iwo Jima and got him Academy Award nominations. Clint put his heart and soul in the making of the film, going to Iwo Jima and trying to understand what suffering people there had been subjected to.
