Congress president Sonia Gandhi, while addressing a well-attended party election rally at Gumla in poll bound Jharkhand blamed the BJP and the 'wrong policies' it adopted during its long rule for the worsening Maoist crisis in the state. While appealing to rebels to abjure violence, Sonia Gandhi said: 'Politics of violence can take you and the state nowhere. I appeal to those who've deviated from the right path to come to the mainstream and contribute to the development of the state.'.
