દશામાનાં વ્રતના દસ દિવસ પુરા થતા સુરતના લોકો દ્વારા દશામાની પ્રતિમાનું તાપી નદીમાં વિસર્જન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. વિસર્જન અગાઉ સુરત મહાનગર પાલિકા દ્વારા કૃત્રિમ તળાવની વ્યવથા કરવામાં ન આવતાં લોકોએ તાપી નદીમાં જ મૂર્તિ વિસર્જન કરવા જવું પડ્યું હતું. પરંતુ, તાપી નદીમાં પણ પાણી ન હોવાને કારણે જે મૂર્તિની દસ-દસ દિવસ સુધી પૂજા કરી હતી તે મૂર્તિને ભક્તો રસ્તા પર જ રઝળતી મૂકીને ચાલ્યાં ગયા હતા..

    दिल्ली के स्थानीय नेता भी आजकल पंजाब और उत्तर प्रदेश के चुनावो में प्रचार पर गए है| पर दिल्ली की हालात से लगता है वे वाकिफ ही नही है| दिल्ली की कालोनियों को नियमित कर सब सुविधाएं देने की बात चुनाव में हर पार्टी करती है| आम आदमीं पार्टी ने भी इसी तरह के वायदे किये थे| पहले कांग्रेस और भाजपा के वायदों से लोगो का विशवास उठ गया था तो पिछले दिल्ली विधानसभा चुनावो में आम आदमी पार्टी के वायदों पर विश्वाश किया पर इस सरकार को भी दो साल बीत गए अभी तक हालात देखिये| ये बुराड़ी विधानसभा का मुकुंदपुर है और मैन गली देखिये कैसे लबालब भरी है| दो दिन पहले हल्की बारिस भी हुई है और पानी निकासी के लिए नालिया ठीक नही है तो पानी गलियो में ही भर गया| लोगो का आरोप तो ये है कि बारिस का पानी कम है बल्कि नालियो से निकला गन्दा पानी है|
    स्थानीय लोग कह रहे है जब मन्दिर में जाते है तो इस गन्दगी के पानी से गुजरकर जाना पड़ता है और मन्दिर में गन्दगी से भरे पाँव जाते है जिसका पाप राजनैतिक पार्टियों को लगेगा| साथ ही लोगो ने ये भी बताया की यहां से किसी शादी में दूसरे समारोह में तैयार होकर जाए तो इस गन्दगी से भरे पानी से गुजरकर जाना पड़ता है और सब कपड़े जूते यही खराब हो जाते है| इसके लिए आम आदमी पार्टी के विधायक और भाजपा के निगम पार्षद को कोस रहे है| मतलब दोनों ही पार्टियों के प्रतिनिधियों से स्थानीय लोग नाराज है|
    अब मुकुंदपुर के ये हालात देखकर कोई इसे नही मान सकता कि ये देश की राजधानी की गलियां है पर असलियत में ये हालत अकेले मुकुंदपुर के नही बल्कि ऐसे ही हालात से सैकड़ो कालोनियां जूझ रही है|
