Story... मुखर्जी नगर किंग्सवे कैंप स्थित गवर्नमेंट सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्कूल फॉर द ब्लाइंड ब्यॉज, सेवा कुटीर (किंग्सवे कैंप) में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों का आरोप है कि यहां पर पढ़ने के लिए लाइब्रेरी तो है लेकिन उसमें बैठकर पढ़ने के लिए जगह नही है । इस बारे में कई बार दिल्ली सरकार के मुखिया से और स्कूल के डायरेक्टर से शिकायत भी कर चुके है । लेकिन स्तिथि में कोई सुधार नही हुआ । लाइब्रेरी में किताबों के ढेर लगे हुए है । जिनमे से अपने सब्जेक्ट की किताब ढूंढ पाना नामुमकिन है ।
दिल्ली में दिल्ली सरकार का एकमात्र दिव्यांगों के लिए सरकारी स्कूल है । इसकी बिल्डिंग को 25 साल पहले ही डेंजरस घोषित किया जा चुका है। बावजूद 120 स्टूडेंट्स यहां पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं। इस स्कूल को यहां 1988 में में शिफ्ट किया गया था। पहली से बारहवीं क्लास तक संचालित इस स्कूल में करीब 120 स्टूडेंट्स हैं। ग्राउंड फ्लोर पर क्लास रूम है, जहां बच्चे पढ़ते हैं। इसमे बच्चों के पढ़ने के लिए एक बड़ी लाइब्रेरी की भी व्यस्था है लेकिन पढ़ने के लिए जगह नही है । इसमे बच्चो के लिए बैठकर पढ़ने के लिए न तो किसी प्रकार से बेंच या कुर्सियों की व्यस्था है और न ही कोई दिव्यांगों को किताब ढूंढकर देने वाला लाइब्रेरी का कर्मचारी मौजूद रहता है ।
पिछले करीब तीन सालों से राष्ट्रीय दृष्टिहीन संघ के नेतृव मे दिल्ली सरकार से यहां की समस्याओं के बारे में कई बार बात भी की गई है लेकिन हालात नही सुधरे । यहां पर कक्षा पहली से बारहवीं तक 120 छात्र पढ़ाई करते है ।.

एंकर -- नॉर्थ-वेस्ट जिला पुलिस का ढीला रवैया आया सामने। अंग्रेजी शासक जॉर्ज पंचम की मूर्ति के सामने कोरोनेशन पार्क में होता रहा प्रदर्शन काफी लेट पहुंची । मीडिया तक को इस प्रदर्शन की भनक थी लेकिन जिला पुलिस को नहीं थी इसकी कोई जानकारी । पहले भी जॉर्ज पंचम की प्रतिमाओं पर यहां हो चुका है अटैक जिसमें मूर्ति के साथ तोड़फोड़ भी की गई थी। उसी संगठन ने फिर आज जॉर्ज पंचम की मूर्तियों को यहां से हटाने के लिए विरोध जताया। मौके पर SHO से ऊपर के कोई भी पुलिस का जिला अधिकारी नहीं पहुंचे । मामला अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्दा था लेकिन नॉर्थ-वेस्ट जिला पुलिस ने लिया बिल्कुल हल्के में।
