देहरा डिपो की बसों की का हाल देखिए... चिंतपूर्णी से सराहन के लिए भेजी जा रही ये खटारा बस हमीरपुर बस स्टैंड में बंद हो गई। आसपास के लोगों व सवारियों जब धक्का लगाया तो कहीं जाकर बस स्टार्ट हुई। इसके बाद अपने रूट की ओर रवाना हो गई। कुछ दिन पहले ही एक ऐसा ही मामला सामने आया था जब नगरोटा से शिमला जा रही बस के पिछले दोनों टायर फट गए और इससे यात्रियों को भी काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है

After that she left for her route. A few days back, a similar case had come to light when both the rear tires of the bus going from Nagrota to Shimla burst and due to this the passengers are also facing a lot of problems.

हिमाचल पथ परिवहन निगम धर्मशाला मंडल की ओर से एसी बसों में बाहरी राज्यों सहित दूरदराज के जिलों में अब एसी बसों में सुहाना सफर साधारण किराए में ही कर पाएंगे। एचआरटीसी की ओर से आम लोगों की सुविधा के लिए सात रूटों पर किराया 15 फीसदी कम किया है। हालांकि साधारण किराए के साथ पांच फीसदी जीएसटी भी अदा करना होगा।

वीरभद्र सिंह की दिली इच्छा थी कि वे दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी में प्रोफ़ेसर बनें। इतिहास में प्रथम श्रेणी में एमए करने के बाद वे इस बारे में प्रयास कर रहे थे, लेकिन किसे पता था कि राजनीति का मैदान बेसब्री से उनका इंतज़ार कर रहा है। नियति उन्हें राजनीति में खींच लाई। लाल बहादुर शास्त्री वीरभद्र सिंह को इंदिरा गांधी के पास लेकर गए। लाल बहादुर शास्त्री और इंदिरा गांधी ने उनकी पंडित नेहरू से बातचीत करवाई। टिकट के लिए बिना आवेदन किये कांग्रेस ने 1962 के लोकसभा चुनाव में उन्हें महासू निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से पार्टी टिकट देकर चुनाव मैदान में उतार दिया। अपने पहले ही चुनाव में जीत के साथ उनके राजनीतिक जीवन की शुरुआत हुई। उनको केंद्र की राजनीति से हटाने की बात भी महज संयोग ही है। 1983 में जब वीरभद्र सिंह लोकसभा सांसद और केंद्र में राज्यमंत्री थे, उस समय प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी ने उन्हें हिमाचल प्रदेश में कांग्रेस सरकार के मुखिया का पद संभालने की जिम्मेदारी दी। उस समय इंदिरा गांधी ने कहा था, ‘ मैं आपको अवसर दे रही हूं, खोना मत।’ आधी सदी से ज्यादा के राजनीतिक जीवन में विभिन्न उपलब्धियों को लेकर जहां वे सुर्ख़ियों में रहे, वहीं विवादों ने भी उनका पीछा नहीं छोड़ा। सागर कत्था मामला, डीसी मामला और आय से अधिक सम्पति अर्जित करने के मामले में उनका नाम जोड़ा गया, लेकिन वे पहले दो मामलों में बेदाग़ साबित हुए जबकि तीसरा अभी न्यायलय में विचाराधीन है। खुद पर लगे आरोपों को वीरभद्र सिंह अपने राजनीतिक विरोधियों का षड्यंत्र करार देते रहे। वीरभद्र सिंह हमेशा अपने राजनीतिक विरोधियों पर भारी पड़े. कांग्रेस में जिसने भी वीरभद्र सिंह के खिलाफ मोर्चाबंदी की, सियासी हाशिये पर पहुंच गया और फिर वीरभद्र सिंह के आगे नतमस्तक हो गया। इतना ही नहीं, हर विवाद के बाद वीरभद्र सिंह पहले से ज्यादा मजबूत हो कर उभरे। वीरभद्र सिंह के बारे में हिमाचल प्रदेश की राजनीति में एक कहावत प्रचलित रही है कि वे न अपने समर्थकों को भूलते थे और न अपने विरोधियों को। वे पार्टी आला
