Citing an order of the High Court of Bombay at Goa, residents of the Mayem village on Saturday morning again blocked trucks transporting iron ore through the village road.Villagers lay seize to the trucks for one and half hours and were finally detained by the police. Residents said that as per the High Court order, transportation of iron ore should be done by other roads and not from the village roads. As soon as the villagers blocked the trucks, a police team arrived at the spot. Bicholim mamlatdar Rajaram Parab, who also reached the site, reviewed the situation.
