Swarghat. The video of rural women lifting a patient on a cot and taking him to the hospital for treatment during the rainy season on Khal Tibba road under Swarghat sub-division of district Bilaspur is becoming increasingly viral. With great difficulty the local women lifted the patient on the bed and carried him down to the main road. During this period, there was deep anger among women towards the government. Local people have demanded from the government that their rural roads become even more dangerous during the rainy season due to them being unpaved and if a patient falls ill, it becomes difficult to take him to the hospital. The villagers have demanded that their roads should be paved soon so that their years-long problem can be solved. Otherwise, they will not only boycott voting in the elections but will also return the voter ID card to the Election Commission.
