हिमाचल प्रदेश के बकलोह में भारतीय सेना अपने कठिन प्रशिक्षण (Training) के लिए दुनिया में जानी जाती है और भारत सरकार यह सुनिश्चित करती है कि रक्षा बलों को नए से नए उपकरण और सर्वोत्तम प्रशिक्षण मिले। इसी कड़ी में अब भारतीय सेना (Indian Army) पवन सुरंग के जरिए पहली बार ऐसी ट्रेनिंग कर रही है जिसमें जवानों को हवा में उड़ाकर उन्हें हवाई ऑपरेशन के दौरान आने वाली सभी परिस्थितियों के लिए तैयार किया जा सके। ये टनल हिमाचल प्रदेश के बकलोह में बनी है। किसी ऑपरेशन के लिए विमान से हवा में कूदना सेना के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण पहलू होता है जिसके लिए विशेष बलों को पवन सुरंग के जरिए स्काईडाइविंग (Sky Diving) की प्रशिक्षण दी जा रही है ।
