India won the gold medal by scoring a total of 1759. China finished second, scoring 1756. The Korean team stood third with a score of 1742. India got two medals through shooting on Wednesday. Earlier, India had won the silver medal in the women's 50 meter rifle 3 positions team event. India on Wednesday took its medal count to 16 in the ongoing Asian Games, which is expected to increase. India has so far won 4 gold, 5 silver and seven bronze medals. However, India has slipped from sixth to seventh place in the Asian Games 2023 points table.
