In Uttarakhand's Joshimath, where the situation worsened due to cracks in the houses, now exactly the same situation prevails in village Parmar Nagar of Sulah Vidhansabha of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. A dozen houses here have already become razed, but cracks have started appearing in other adjacent houses as well. Due to this many houses have been evacuated. People have been kept in camps.

Joshimath situated in Uttarakhand where cracks have started appearing in the houses which are continuously increasing, exactly the same situation is now prevailing in Parmar Nagar village of Sulah Vidhansabha of Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. A dozen houses here have already become razed, but cracks have started appearing in other adjacent houses as well. At the same time, about 3 km deep cracks have also developed on the land, due to which many houses and agricultural land are in danger of landslide. The administration has got many houses vacated as a precautionary measure. For the villagers rendered homeless due to landslides in Parmar Nagar, the administration provided arrangements for food, drink and accommodation in the relief camp where tents have been set up.

सुलाह हलके के हर घर को नल से शुद्ध पेयजल पहुंचाने के लिये जल जीवन मिशन में 75 करोड़ रुपये व्यय किये जा रहे हैं। इस योजना में ट्यूबवेल लगाने, ओवरहेड टैंक बनाने और पुरानी पाइपों को बदलने का प्रावधान किया गया है।
यह जानकारी विधान सभा अध्यक्ष ने ग्राम पंचायत दैहण में शनिदेव मंदिर के पास लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए दी। उन्होंने कहा कि दैहण बंघियार में क्षेत्र में लोगों को मांग के अनुरूप पेयजल उपलब्ध करवाने के लिये जल जीवन मिशन में 2 करोड़ 22 लाख रुपये व्यय किये जा रहे हैं।
