Sainj (Himachal) : People of Shanshar and Deuri Dhar Panchayats of Sainj Valley in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh have to walk a distance of four kilometers carrying gas cylinders on their shoulders.These people just walk on foot from Sambha Bihali bridge to Power House Newli and then come back with a filled cylinder. Due to which the villagers can refill the gas cylinder. We are facing a lot of difficulties in doing so. Local people have raised the demand from the government and PWD department to restore the Newly-Shanshar road soon.

Machinery and employees of the Public Works Department are busy in restoring the road. One kilometre of snow removal is left from Churah side, while one kilometre of snow removal from Kilad side above Bhoot Ground towards Sach Pass. On Bairagarh-Sach Pass-Kilad road, the Public Works Department Pangi removes snow from up to 67 kilometres of road. Out of this, snow has been removed from 65 kilometres of road so far. Now, 2 kilometres of snow removal is left from the road.
