Udhayanidhi had reportedly said in the Sanatan abolition conference that Sanatan should not only be opposed, but it should be abolished. Sanatan Dharma is against social justice and equality. Some things cannot be opposed, they must be abolished.

तमिलनाडु सरकार में मंत्री और मुख्यमंत्री एमके स्टालिन के बेटे उदयनिधि स्टालिन नेसनातन धर्म की तुलना डेंगू, मलेरिया और कोरोना से की है. उनके इस बयान के बाद बवाल मचा हुआ है. दिल्ली में उनके खिलाफ पुलिस थाने में शिकायत दर्ज कराई गई है
तमिलनाडु सरकार में मंत्री और मुख्यमंत्री एमके स्टालिन के बेटे उदयनिधि स्टालिन द्वारा सनातन धर्म को लेकर दिए गए एक बयान से हंगामा मचा हुआ है. उदयनिधि ने एक सभा को संबोधित करते हुए सनातन धर्म की तुलना मलेरिया और डेंगू से कर दी. उदयनिधि के इस बयान की तमाम नेताओं द्वारा आलोचना की जा रही है और उनके खिलाफ पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज की गई है.
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के वकील और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता विनीत जिंदल द्वारा उदयनिधि स्टालिन के खिलाफ सनातन धर्म के खिलाफ उनके उत्तेजक, भड़काऊ और मानहानिकारक बयान के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज की गई है. इसमें भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 120बी,153ए, 295, और 504 of और आईटी एक्ट की धाराएं शामिल हैं. इसके अलावा, हिंदू सेना ने भी उदयनिधि स्टालिन के खिलाफ दिल्ली पुलिस कमिश्नर से शिकायत दर्ज कराई है.
