Himachal Pradesh Pensioners Welfare Association has demanded from the state government to clear the liabilities of the pensioners soon. The association has also met the CM and demanded formation of JCC to resolve the issues of pensioners. The Pensioners Welfare Association demands that 80 percent of the outstanding benefits of the Sixth Pay Commission be given to the pensioners. The long pending dearness allowance should be paid at the rate of 4 percent.
