Delhi के Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal ने Pollution से निपटने के लिए अनेक पहल की है, लेकिन इन प्रयासों में DPCC अध्यक्ष Ashwini Kumar द्वारा किए गए कार्यों ने विवाद पैदा किया है! इनकी एकमात्र निर्णय से IIT कानपुर की एक महत्वपूर्ण अध्ययन की योजना बंद कर दी गई है, जो शहर के Pollution Sources को समझने और कम करने में Important मानी जाती थी. AAP का कहना है कि ‘अश्विनी कुमार द्वारा अनुदान रोकने के निर्णय ने न केवल अध्ययन की वैज्ञानिकता को क्षति पहुंचाई है, बल्कि दिल्ली के दो करोड़ निवासियों की सेहत को खतरे में डाला है.’ इस परिस्थिति में, Aam Aadmi Party ने अश्विनी कुमार को DPCC अध्यक्ष पद से तुरंत हटाने की मांग की है.
