Mandi (Himachal) : A couple from Chadayara village adjacent to Mandi city has set a unique example by donating the body of their 16-year-old disabled son to the Medical College, Ner Chowk for research. Vansh, born in 2007 to Balwinder and Meenakshi, residents of Chadayara village, had complications at birth. Even after getting treatment everywhere, no diagnosis was found about Vansh's illness and with time it came to light that Vansh could neither walk nor speak. In such a situation, Balwinder and his wife Meenakshi had already decided that they would donate their son's body for medical research so that the doctors could do research and find out what problem Vansh was facing and other children would not have to face such problems. Had to endure. Last Saturday, when Vansh's health deteriorated and he was taken to the medical college, the doctors there declared him dead. After this the family donated their son's body there.
