Due to heavy rain, landslides have occurred at many places in the capital Shimla. There has been a landslide in Panjri near ISBT Tutikandi. A pine tree also got uprooted here. The road remained blocked due to landslide. Due to heavy rain near Bardhash, stones fell on vehicles from the hill. This has caused damage to the vehicles. The Anadel road was closed due to landslide near Nag Devta temple.

National Highway-5 was blocked on Tuesday night due to the rock slipping from the mountain near Chaura in Kinnaur district, due to which the vehicular movement on National Highway-5 has been closed for about 17 hours. In such a situation, hundreds of passengers are stranded on both sides of the road.
रिकांगपिओ। हिमाचल में बारिश के चलते कहीं लैंडस्लाइड तो कहीं पर पहाड़ों से पत्थरों का गिरना जारी है। किन्नौर जिला में चौरा समीप मंगलवार रात पहाड़ से चट्टान खिसकने के कारण राष्ट्रीय उच्च मार्ग-5 अवरुद्ध हो गया, जिसके चलते करीब 17 घंटों से राष्ट्रीय उच्च मार्ग-5 पर वाहनों की आवाजाही बंद पड़ी हुई है। ऐसे सड़क के दोनों ओर सैंकड़ों यात्री फसे हुए है। जिला के चौरा समीप पहाड़ी से चट्टान खिसकने के बाद राष्ट्रीय उच्च मार्ग-5 के निचली तरफ दीवार व सड़क भी काफी क्षतिग्रस्त हुई है। स्थानीय प्रशासन, राष्ट्रीय उच्च मार्ग के कर्मी सड़क बहाली का काम कर रहे है। पहाड़ी से चट्टानों के खिसकने के बाद इंटरनेट भी मंगलवार रात 8 बजे से बुधवार दोपहर एक बजे तक प्रभावित रहा।

About ASHI, Haryana:
Association for Social Health in India (ASHI) is a Voluntary and Social Organization aiming at challenging those conditions that lead to exploitation of women and children for anti-social purposes by providing shelter for Destitute & Orphan children and arranging for their education, vocational training and rehabilitation are one of the Association’s main activities. The Governor of Haryana, their Chief Patron, visits the Home once a year to encourage and bless the children.
