शिमला में जहां गर्मियों में लोगों को भारी किल्लत का सामना करना पड़ा वहीं मानसून की दस्तक के साथ ही अब शहरवासियों को तीसरे दिन पानी मिल रहा है। पानी के जलस्रोत जो सूख गए थे अब उसका जलस्तर बढ़ गया है लेकिन बरसात के मौसम में शिमला में पेयजल परियोजनाओं में गाद आ जाने से पानी की समस्या आ जाती है। इस समस्या से निपटने के लिए नगर निगम ने अतिरिक्त पानी की स्टोरेज के लिए टैंक बनाएं हैं। वहीं शहर में पानी की समस्या से निपटने के लिए 24×7 परियोजना का कार्य भी इस वर्ष के दिसंबर माह पूरा करने की डेडलाइन है।
