Himachal Pradesh government is going to merge government schools in the state on the basis of the number of students. Its process is already going on in the state. Earlier, the state government had decided to merge schools with two or less students with the nearest school. Moving forward in this direction, now the state government has identified 700 such schools which will be merged with the nearest school.
